It’s the “must have” when you have a bathtub. Relaxing homemade bath salts that smell good and moisturize the skin. That’s exactly what I suggest you do with this article. This recipe is ultra simple and 100% natural. It doesn’t cost much either. It’s perfect as a gift or in zero-waste baskets. I chose not to use essential oils. They don’t dissolve in water and pollute waterways enormously. They disturb the reproduction cycle of fish and sometimes even kill them. So, we will avoid putting them in the bath water. The best way is to use them as a spray. That being said, let’s get down to business.

For this recipe, you will need:
- 2 tablespoons solidified coconut oil or 3 tablespoons liquid coconut oil
- 8 tablespoons of epsom salts
- 2 tablespoons
- A glass jar
- 5 minutes

So, Epsom salt is the essential ingredient in bath salts. It’s magnesium sulfate. It has always been used. Magnesium helps to relax the muscles in the bath. It is perfect after a hard day or a big sport session to avoid aches and pains. It is really top. We are going to put the eight tablespoons of salts of epsom in the glass pot. We add the oil of coconut. The coconut oil, that will allow to hydrate your skin. You will see, your skin will be very soft at the exit. The coconut oil, is also antibacterial, but especially, it smells very good. It will naturally perfume your bath. Personally, it always makes me feel like I’m on vacation. When your mixture is well homogeneous as on the photograph, your salts of bath are ready. You put the equivalent of 3 or 4 tablespoons in your bath and all that’s left to do is relax.
It is really a great alternative to the bath beads sold in the shops. Zero pollution for 100% well-being. Don’t hesitate to like and subscribe if you found this article useful. Don’t hesitate either, to search in my other articles to find a small series or a small nice thing to eat. See you soon.
